Understanding how to apply for Viterbo, UW Stout, CVTC Academies, and CVTC Start College Now classes


Viterbo

  • Classes Offered 2026-2027
    • Advanced Speech with Ms. Brey (Semester 2)
    • American Government with Mr. Snyder (Semester 1 or 2)
  • WHEN application is filled out & HOW
    • FIRST DAY OF CLASS
    • Paper form
      • students need their SSN
      • needs to be signed by student & parent
      • return to Regis Registrar 
    • Regis Registrar submits to Viterbo to complete enrollment
  • Orientation
    • None
  • Billing
    • Regis will send a bill to families at the end of the semester when the class is completed
      • final grade >73% C = 50/50 cost split
      • final grade <73% C = 100% cost billed to families

UW Stout

  • Classes Offered 2026-2027
    • English Composition with Ms. Jeffries (Year)
    • Creative Writing with Ms. Jeffires (Semester 2)
    • Health, Wellness, & Fitness Industry 100 [Kinesiology] with Mr. Niese (Semester 2)
  • WHEN application is filled out & HOW
    • FIRST DAY OF CLASS
    • Online form
      • students need their SSN
    • UW Stout completes enrollment after submission
  • Orientation
    • None
  • Billing
    • Regis will send a bill to families at the end of the semester when the class is completed
      • final grade >73% C = 50/50 cost split
      • final grade <73% C = 100% cost billed to families

CVTC Academies

  • Orientation - recommended for all students & families new to CVTC courses
    • FALL Orientation - August 3rd, 2026
      • 8am - 12pm
      • Eau Claire Business Education Center
    • SPRING Orientation - TBD
  • CVTC Academies at Regis - 2026-2027 START DATES
    • FALL 2026 - Sept 1, 2026 (same as Regis Semester 1)
    • SPRING 2027 - Jan 25, 2027 (same as Regis Semester 2)
  • CVTC Academies off campus - 2026-2027 START DATES
    • FALL 2026 - Aug 24, 2026 (EARLY)
    • SPRING 2027 - Jan 25, 2027
  • Billing
    • Regis will send a bill to families at the end of the semester when the class is completed
      • final grade >73% C = 50/50 cost split
      • final grade <73% C = 100% cost billed to families
    • Off-campus academies taken over summer are 100% cost billed to families (need prior Regis Registrar approval)

CVTC Start College Now (SCN)

  • SCN Classes Offered In-person & Online 2026-2027
  • WHEN application is filled out & HOW
    • FALL - apply May-Aug 2025
    • SPRING - apply Oct-Dec 2026
    • Paper application
      • student needs course name/s & number/s
      • needs to be signed by student and parent
      • return to Regis Registrar
    • Regis Registrar sends in applications to CVTC
    • CVTC emails student directly with information on how to register online at CVTC.edu & what day to register
      • students taking CVTC classes for the first time need to set up a profile
      • call CVTC Service Desk with any tech issues 715-830-5555
    • Student registers for class/es & send a snapshot of confirmed registration to Regis Registrar
      • this is the only way to have SCN classes added to Skyward schedule
      • STUDENTS MUST APPLY & REGISTER BEFORE THE 1ST DAY OF CLASS
